The 2025 FIA Formula One schedule has been announced by the FIA and Formula 1. This season will be exciting, featuring 24 races for fans, drivers, and teams as they celebrate the championship's 75th anniversary.
The season kicks off on March 14-16 with the Australian Grand Prix and wraps up on December 5-7 with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The teams will travel worldwide five to seven continents throughout the season.
The Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix moved to April because Ramadan will take up all of March in 2025
The regular summer break will continue in August. The action will be paused for three weekends between the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring and the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.
The 2024 calendar adjustments aimed at a more logical geographical race sequence will continue into 2025. The Japanese race is set for April, following events in Australia and China. The summer will predominantly see races in Europe, while the Americas will host races in the fall. The season will conclude with back-to-back races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
The Shanghai, Miami, Spa, Austin, Sao Paulo, and Qatar include six sprint races in the 2025 season. Pre-season testing is also set to return to Bahrain, running from February 26th to 28th.
