The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship 2025 round 5 Miami E-Prix will be back on the schedule after a 10-year gap. The Miami E-Prix race will take place at Homestead-Miami Speedway on 12 April 2025.
The event debuted during the 2014-15 season, serving as the first of two races in the United States that year, with the Long Beach ePrix being the other. It took place in Miami, but only for that single year.
It was confirmed in June 2024 that the race would be back for the 2024-25 Formula E World Championship. The location shifted to Homestead, using the road course at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The Homestead-Miami Speedway, located just outside of Homestead, Florida, boasts both a 1.5-mile oval track as well as a longer 2.21-mile road course, leaving organizers of the Miami E-Prix with a choice regarding which configuration will be used to host the electric open-wheel racing event. Across its history, the flexible multi-purpose circuit has proven itself as a venue capable of accommodating numerous racing series, such as lengthy NASCAR stock car races, action-packed IMSA sports car competitions, and thrilling IndyCar challenges on their various calendar of events. With this successful track record of organizing events from different branches of motorsport, Speedway officials will surely provide Formula E with a smooth and well-run weekend whichever layout is ultimately selected for the first ever Miami ePrix.
