From 14-16 March 2025
The 2025 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne marks the start of a new season of Formula 1, and excitement is growing for what might be a year to remember.
Everyone is looking forward to the first race of the year at Albert Park this weekend, March 14–16, because of the closeness of the field in the second half of last year and the fact that no team appeared to have a distinct advantage in pre-season testing.

The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix debuted at Albert Park in 1996. The event was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Melbourne race has consistently been included in the Formula One schedule.
Australia has not hosted the first race of the Formula 1 season since 2019, but starting this year, it is set to kick off at least five season openers before its contract at Albert Park expires in 2035.
